April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Every year we make a bar and a pinwheel pin to support Our Kids®, the Nashville centre that provides expert medical evaluation and crisis counselling for children who may have been sexually abused — Peep's chosen charity, and the one we come back to every year.
The bar is our crème brûlée white chocolate. The pinwheel is the national symbol of child abuse prevention, and wearing one in April starts more conversations than you'd expect.
